Occult Club: The Book Of The Witch

The Book of the Witch is an unconventional adventure game with a strong focus on narrative. Solve puzzles, explore the mysterious home of the witch, and uncover the haunting truth about Noah’s past as he descends deeper into a cursed basement.

Noah, an unassuming young man, has recently started working for Hazel — a demanding and sharp-tongued witch. Though officially her paranormal investigator trainee, so far he’s only been stuck doing mundane chores around the house.

That is, until one day, while cleaning the basement, something strange happens…

The story blends humor, quirkiness, and drama, all set in a fictional modern-day world where the supernatural lurks just beneath the surface.

If the game is well received, I’d love to keep expanding it alongside its sequels. Here’s what I have in mind for future updates:

2.  [500]    A new chapter in which Noah and Hazel explore Lake City
3.  [750]    An alternate ending 
4.  [1000] An isekai DLC centered around one of the house’s paintings

Occult Club is an upcoming series of short, story-driven games — each with its own unique gameplay style. Follow Noah and Hazel as they dive deeper into the world of the occult, uncovering strange mysteries and getting into even stranger trouble.

You can play The Book of the Witch on Android using the JoiPlay app and the RPG Maker plugin.

1.  Download JoiPlay and the RPG Maker plugin from the official site: https://joiplay.net/
2.  Download the Windows version of the game and unzip it into a folder on your Android device
3.  Open JoiPlay, tap the "+" button (top-right), then select “Add Game”
4. Navigate to the game’s folder and select the  ".exe" file

This game has a small price tag because I believe it deserves a fair shot — and honestly, giving it away for free might not encourage players to see it through. Plus, making games is something I hope to do for a living.
